Training the world in Obeya through entrepreneurial collaboration
The Obeya Training Cooperative is dedicated to empowering freelance Obeya Coaches by enabling them to deliver training programs licenced by the Obeya Association. Together, the cooperative and its members are advancing the global adoption of Obeya, fostering collaboration, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement across industries.
Our Story
Theo Geelen and Maarten Bolsenbroek met during their training to become certified Obeya Coaches. As freelancers, they shared a vision to train others in the roles of Obeya Host and Obeya Builder. However, to offer official certification exams, they needed to partner with the Obeya Association as an official Training Partner.

To overcome this challenge, they founded the Obeya Training Cooperation, establishing their own Training Partner organization. This solution not only allowed them to organize licensed training but also opened the cooperative to other certified Obeya Coaches. Members can join as part of this official Training Partner while maintaining their independence and entrepreneurial freedom as freelancers.
